Bringing Key Stakeholders on Board

Getting an HPPAE off the ground and running and sustaining it require bringing a number of key stakeholders to the table from both the university and community. They are:

1. Faculty
2. Field Directors
3. College Administrators (Presidents and Deans)
4. Field Instructors and Community Partners
5. Students

Bringing these stakeholder groups on board requires effective communications. When we talk to people about a new idea, they don't come to us with a blank slate. They process everything they hear through the filter of our own worldviews, experiences, and values. As communicators of the HPPAE, its our job to understand what makes our target audiences tick, from what motivates them to get up in the morning, to what keeps them up at night.
